Brand Boekhouders was founded in 1984 by Otto Paul Brand, who is still actively involved in the company on a daily basis. However, despite being built on a solid foundation, we also find it important to keep up with the times. Over the past few years, we have grown into a team of about 40 accounting and tax specialists, ranging from modern experts and young professionals. Management

Otto Paul Brand

Founder & Director

Otto founded Brand Boekhouders in 1984 and began by managing the accounting for various companies and investors in the Netherlands. After gaining international experience in senior roles at Deloitte, PWC, and IBM in different countries, he returned to the Netherlands to continue his work at Brand Accountants.

Gerard Coppus

Supervisor

After his time as a Partner at Deloitte, Gerard joined Brand Boekhouders. With his many years of collaboration with various publicly listed companies, he brings valuable knowledge and experience. In addition, Gerard holds several roles as a board member within non-profit organizations, where he continues to contribute his expertise.

Rogier van Schijndel

Head of Operations

Rogier obtained his Master’s in Financial Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and his Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management. He also holds several coaching certifications and gained experience as a Financial Analyst and board member at various organizations.

Robert Prinsze

Head of Tax

Robert obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Tax Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, specializing in Direct Taxes. Since 2019, he has been working at Brand Boekhouders, leading the tax department, where he applies his broad knowledge to various tax issues daily.

Wiecher Huijser

Head of Accounting

After completing his studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam, with a specialization in actuarial sciences and mathematical finance, Wiecher joined Brand in 2019. In 2024, he took on responsibility for the accounting department.
